What versions of SketchUp does SunDAT support?
SunDAT is available for the following:
- SketchUp 2020 Pro
- SketchUp 2019 Pro
- SketchUp 2018 Pro
- SketchUp 2017 Pro
- SketchUp 2017 Make
SunDAT is not compatible with:
- SketchUp Free(Web based) or SketchUp Shop
What are the system requirements for running SunDAT?
To install and run SunDAT, the user must have a 64-bit machine running Windows. SketchUp is also required since SunDAT is a SketchUp extension.
Do I need to buy SketchUp Pro?
Technically, SunDAT will operate on the free version of SketchUp (SketchUp Make). However, we typically recommend using SketchUp Pro to most users since there are several limitations to SketchUp Make. These include inability to import/export DWGs, limited geo-location capability and limited terrain analysis capability. Can SunDAT run on my Mac?
Currently, no, SunDAT is only compatible with computers running Windows.
How does SunDAT licensing work?
SunDAT is a subscription sold on a per user basis. This means that each SunDAT license can be associated with only one computer and one user email at a time. The license remains active for the subscription period (monthly or yearly), and is auto-renewed.
Do you have a network license option for users that share a computer?
Not at this time.
Can I transfer my license to another computer?
Yes. To do so, simply uninstall SunDAT from your computer (use Add/Remove Programs in Windows and uninstall “FTC Solar SunDAT…”), and then reinstall on the new computer using your SunDAT product key.
Can I transfer my license to another user?
Yes. Currently this requires some help from the SunDAT team, so just send a request to SunDAT Support.
